Why do I need to stay hydrated? 🤷🏽‍♀️

There's a lot of science behind why it's important to keep hydrated 🤓

The human body is 60% water, and most of the chemical reactions in the body need water in order to be conducted. 

Our body needs water to:

transport nutrients to cells and get rid of waste products 👋🏽

control body temperature 🌡

provide lubrication to joints, organs and tissues ✅

 

Am I drinking enough? 🤔

Not drinking enough fluids can lead to negative effects such as dry skin, muscle cramps, constipation and fatigue 😩

You should aim to intake around 2 litres of fluids per day! Ideally this would be water but drinks such as fruit juice and herbal tea also count towards your daily fluid intake. 

You could always add some Aloe Mango to your water for a natural citrus twist or if you love tea the Instant Herbal Beverage is the way to go 😍

 

Eat to hydrate! 🍉

It's good to note that foods with high water content also help to keep you hydrated!
